TOPIC - Best Practices for Employee Engagement and Communications

Panelists will highlight how their organization’s strategies, methodologies, and tools have evolved and adapted during the pandemic, and what old strategies will remain in place.  Other topics addressed will include new roles, job titles, and responsibilities that have emerged for managers dealing with a remote/hybrid workforce, and how to maximize the opportunity that the upcoming open enrollment window provides.


About our Moderator and Panel

Moderator  Katherine Lee, Vice President - Hub International Katherine is an experienced advisor with demonstrated history and valued expertise in financial analysis, plan design and administration, employee communications, implementation, multi-site challenges, and compliance. Skilled in negotiation, sales, and team building.  While her background is employee benefits, some of her most important work is the partnerships created with leaders of companies and organizations to pursue the best plans and strategies that make a meaningful difference for the company and their employees. 

Panelists

Marsha Burton, Director, HR Communications - Vanderbilt University Medical Center Marsha has extensive experience in corporate communications and special expertise in strategy development and implementation, public relations, crisis communications and executive, customer and employee engagement communications. She has a proven track record of developing effective change management strategies, and harnessing a team to craft clear, compelling and consistent communications to cut through the clutter to influence audience behavior. Her experience includes communicating across multiple, cutting-edge mediums, from executive communications to video to social media, to build involvement and support.

Teresa Christian, Benefits Manager - Hiller Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electrical  Teresa is a corporate human resources leader with more than 20 years of experience in employee benefits, payroll and human resources.  She has a proven track record in building and sustaining the department of human resources to achieve operational objectives while driving to the long-term mission of the organization.

Brandon Daniell, President & Co-founder Dialog Health Brandon has more than 15 years of business and program development experience in healthcare; working with some of the leading employers, physicians, payors, and hospital systems including GTE (now Verizon), BCBS of TN, and Hospital Corporation of America.
