About our Speaker

Daniel Bryant is an author, adjunct lecturer, entrepreneur, philanthropist, and Iron Man. The first member of his family born in the United States, Daniel was a student athlete at Dartmouth College, where he received a BA in Government and Spanish and played shortstop on the baseball team. Subsequently, he received his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

After a successful career in investment banking and private equity, Daniel co-founded Sheridan Road Financial, which ultimately grew to become the number-three-ranked institutional investment consulting company in the country, according to Barron’s and The Wall Street Journal. After fifteen years as CEO of Sheridan Road, the company was sold to Hub International, the fourth largest insurance brokerage firm in the country.

Daniel has consulted with thousands of companies and been a thought leader around financial wellness and financial technology to help drive better health, financial, and life outcomes for individuals.

Daniel is Chairman of The Sheridan Road Charitable Foundation, which helps to improve the outcomes for those in under-resourced communities and in underperforming urban school systems. He is also the Chairman of the Dartmouth Clubs of both Chicago and Nashville. Daniel is an active board member with YPO Chicago Metro, The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Hopkins Center, and Oz Arts. He is also a member of the Commercial Club of Chicago, Economic Club of Chicago, as well as the Chicago Club, and Standard Club of Nashville.

Daniel lives in Chicago and Nashville with his two daughters, Ainsley and Lily.
